You'll receive a poetic journal on arrival especially designed to help navigate yourSelf, providing you with a suggested itinerary of reflective and nurturing activities designed to reconnect you with your inner wisdom. You will be guided to cultivate nourishing ways of being, taking home a clear intentional map for living a more heart-led and fulfilling life as your Soul's souvenir. Body poetry nature yoga Body poetry yoga in the tantric tradition is designed to shift your attention from thinking & doing to feeling & being through immersive sensory experiences. Yoga will be held lakeside in the Karri Valley Resort's Beedelup Room encircled by stunning views of the lake and karri forest. In each session you will be guided through a reflection, meditation, breathwork, a slow sensory vinyasa flow sequence and juicy savasanas with sound healing. This spiritual and energising practise is suitable for all levels. |

Kathy's love for yoga and its transformative benefits came from a solid practise of vinyasa yoga over the past 10+ years. She has combined her love of nature with her passion for yoga in the inessence nature yoga program and is delighted to host her first retreat this spring.
Kathy was trained in the alchemy of body poetry yoga by highly esteemed Yogis Brooke Elliston and Lara Zilibowitz. She completed her Body Poetry Yoga Teacher Training (200 hours) Certificate in 2019 at their distinctive and fully immersive Yoga Alliance Registered Yoga School.
Accommodation
The retreat will be held at the Karri Valley Resort's Beedelup Room (at the end of the Lakeside Restaurant). The Resort has recently refurbished lakeside rooms and chalets with discounted rates for RAC members. Please see their website for current tariff rates and availability - fully booked.

Chalets at the resort are self contained with a full kitchen for self catering. The Resort's Lakeside Restaurant serves breakfast, lunch and dinner with vegetarian, vegan and gluten free options. For those wanting to connect with like minded souls, a dinner reservation will be made for the Friday evening for the retreat group (optional to attend at your own expense).

The inessence nature retreat will be held at the Karri Valley Resort in Pemberton, nestled in the Beedelup National Park in the beautiful Great Southern region of Western Australia – a 3.5 hour drive from Perth, a 3 hr drive from Albany and a 75 min drive from Margaret River. With misty mornings, ancient karri forest walking trails and waterfalls there is an abundance of beauty to immerse yourself in. The Resort also offers kayaking, SUPs, mountain biking and other activities for hire. The region is renowned for its ancient forests, wineries, trout and truffles.
